Welcome to the Positive Energy District assessment dashboard!

This interactive website is hosted and implemented by the research group "Climate neutral Cities and Districts" at Fraunhofer ISE. We want to inform about the Positive Energy District Concept and show how it can help districts to reach climate neutrality. We have developed a simple and sound assessment method for Positive Energy Districts that can be used in an interactive tool on this webpage. This assessment tool shows what measures should be implemented to reach PED status and help districts on their way to climate neutrality.

Besides the assessment tool, we provide general information about Positive Energy Districts and our research projects dealing with that topic.

The research work that led to the results of this page has been mostly funded within the research project PED-urban, a German national research project funded by the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (Förderkennzeichen: funding code: 03EN3048A).
